Blepharoplasty, also known as eyelid surgery, is a cosmetic surgical procedure aimed at improving the appearance of the eyelids. The procedure involves removing excess skin, fat, from the upper or lower eyelids or both, reducing bags, wrinkles, and sagging skin around the eyes. It can also correct droopy eyelids and improve vision in some cases. The surgery can be performed on both upper and lower eyelids, or just one, depending on the individual’s needs. Recovery time after the procedure is generally a one to two, with visible results lasting several years.
